Sizzling 6 is an online slot that combines elements of both classic and video slots. Its most immediately noticeable feature is its six reels.
Five fixed paylines run across the reels, which feature a number of classic-style symbols. Rather than being limited to symbols that only pay out either high or low credits, they also include Wild and Scatter symbols.
There are two modes of play available. One is standard slot gameplay of betting and spinning the reels manually, using controls, and the other is Autoplay.
Sizzling 6 Slot Basics
As a precursor to playing Sizzling 6 from Novomatic, the size of the bet needs to be confirmed. This is done using increase and decrease buttons on the interface.
The Start button is clicked to make the reels spin, once the size of the bet per line has been determined. The Autoplay button could be clicked in place of the Start button, which sets the game to place bets and spin the reels automatically.
Symbols appear in various positions when the reels stop spinning. If a combination formed by symbols on the reels matches a symbol combination on the paytable, the amount listed on the pay table is paid out.
Symbols on the Sizzling 6 Reels
There are nine different symbols on the reels of Sizzling 6 online slots. Eight of the symbols, one of which is a bonus symbol, pay out.
The symbols, in order of highest to lowest payouts, include a red seven, a yellow star, a watermelon, a bunch of grapes, plums, a lime, an orange, and two cherries. Many of these symbols are also found in iPhone slots AU. The top jackpot of 40 000 coins is paid out by six sevens in a row.
The yellow star is also the Scatter symbol. A joker wearing a multi-coloured hat is the Wild symbol.
Sizzling 6 Star Scatter
What sets the Sizzling 6 star Scatter symbol apart from the other reel symbols is that it can pay from anywhere on the reels. The other symbols need to appear from left to right, in the order in which they appear on the pay table, to form successful combinations.
Four stars need to land on the reels to pay out 120 coins. If five stars land, the payout will be 400 coins, and if six stars land, they will pay out 8000 coins.
Joker Substitutes for Other Symbols
The joker Wild is the only one of the Sizzling 6 online slot reel symbols that does not form combinations with other Wilds. Instead, it is able to substitute for the other symbols, with the exception of the star Scatter.
If the Wild lands as part of a combination formed by several of another symbol, it can stand in for the missing symbol to help complete that combination. This means it can create a payout where there would’ve not been one, or it could create a combination that makes for a higher payout than what would’ve been.
Double Up Gamble Feature
The Gamble button on the Sizzling 6 interface lights up when a payout from a successful spin is added to the total winnings. The button activates a feature that is used to gamble the total winnings.
The feature game is played by guessing whether the colour of a virtual face-down card is red or black. The card is then turned over.
The total winnings are doubled if the guess was the right one, but lost if it was the wrong one, for example so many games have same feature.
