Q and A

Frequently asked questions about Recorders/Early Music MetroWest

Who is eligible for Recorders/Early Music MetroWest programs?
Anyone who enjoys early music, especially the recorder and its repertoire spanning seven centuries! Depending on the program topic, REMM offers ensembles at four or five levels with professional coaches. Players of other early instruments — viols, Renaissance reeds and brass, lute — are also welcomed. We offer several programs during the year for singers, too.
Do I have to be a member?
Your membership supports our programs and covers the cost of hiring the very best coaches available, as well as a donation to Trinity Episcopal Church for use of their space. Visitors are welcomed at a fee of $15/meeting (applicable to REMM membership at that meeting). We encourage you to consider membership in the American Recorder Society as well.
