<p>For our 10th music trip to Europe — and our first to Croatia — Ars &amp; Amici presented concerts and sang masses in Renaissance &amp; Baroque churches in Zagreb, Bjelovar, Djakovo, and Osijek (Croatia) and the Baroque city of Pecs (Hungary).  Our chorus of 22 was complemented by a quartet of recorders and outstanding organist Libor Dudas.</p>

•  Monday, April 20 at 7:00 PM: Crkva Sv. Antuna Padovanskog, Bjelovar<br />
•  Wednesday, April 22 at 7:30 PM:  Konkatedrala Sv. Petra i Pavla, Osijek<br />
•  Thursday, April 23 at 7:00 PM:  Private performance in Djakovo<br />
•  Friday, April 24 at 8:00 PM:  Katedrala Sv. Petra i Pavla, Djakovo<br />
•  Saturday, April 25 at 7:30 PM: St Elizabeth&#8217;s Church, Kertvaros, Pecs (Hungary)<br />
•  Sunday, April 26 at 10:30 AM Mass:  Zupna crkva Sv, Filipa i Jakova, Vukovar</p>
<p>Our program included</p>

<li>Medieval works from England, France &amp; Spain</li>
<li>Venetian Carnival music, ca 1500 featuring penitents, gypsies, scribes &amp; gondoliers</li>
<li>English music from countryside &amp; chapel by Byrd, Morley, Este, Coprario &amp; Tallis</li>
<li>Music from High Renaissance Italy by Gastoldi, Maschera, Gabrieli, Marenzio &amp; Frescobaldi</li>
<li>Early Baroque works by Lotti, Alessandro Scarlatti, Aichinger &amp; Purcell</li>
</ul>
