New! “Elizabeth’s Memories” for Fall 2016

Our new English program, Elizabeth’s Memories, spans (mostly) English music from Henry VIII to his daughter Elizabeth I. The program includes a side trip for music heard by Elizabeth’s cousin, Mary, Queen of Scots, and Italian influences on English madrigals, ending with a somber tribute to the Virgin Queen.
