September 8, 2012: Teacher & Student — Tallis & Byrd

We start our year with one of music’s most famous teacher and student pairs: Thomas Tallis & William Byrd, the fathers of the English Renaissance.

RSVP by Wednesday, September 5 for Consorts or Choral Morning.

Coached Consorts at three levels (a fourth will be added if registration is high) with Héloïse Degrugillier, Eric Haas & Daniel Meyers. Each level works with two coaches over the morning.

Choral Morning with Sarah Mead (director, Brandeis Early Music Ensembles). Music selected in advance; PDF files available to participants on Thursday, Sept. 6.

2012-2013 Consort Fees
Coached Consorts $99; $85 for seniors, students & members of other recorder societies.
Junior Membership $50, students ages 10-18
Consort Visitors $15, applicable to membership on Sept 8

2012-2013 Choral Morning Fees:
R/EMM Choral Affiliate $75 for all 5 sessions PLUS member discounts to any R/EMM-sponsored events during the year.
Choral Visitors $18 per session
R/EMM Consort members pay $10 per Choral Morning
